Default Legal Engines for 424 ??

Hi Guys, is there a list of legal engines for 424 sport pylon? It's mentioned in the AMA rulebook, but no further info about which are good to go. Thanks

What everyone seems to fly with and what my friends and I fly with is the Thunder Tiger 40. I'm pretty sure I've never seen anything else in a 424 race.

It depends on the group. The Thunder Tiger meets the specification.

NEPRO and SEMPRA only allow the TT PRO 40. The current APRA list allows the TT PRO 40, a Magnum, and a Super Tigre.

If there is a local group racing 424, find out what they are using.

I have heard of one group that does (sanely) allow the OS 40 FX.

You can also see a list of engines that are potential candidates for 424 at Q-500 Engines. One engine that I need to add to the list is the MDS .40 ...
