Default TT40--Piston Question

I have heard the piston in the Thunder Tiger 40 Pro has changed slightly in the newest version. Has anyone noticed any performance increase compared to the older version?
Thanks in advance.

Default RE: TT40--Piston Question

Are you referring to the metallurgy ? The old ones up till just recently were ABC, the newer ones are now ABN. Ive only owned the newer ABN engines so couldn't tell you if there is any RPM differences? Anybody out there have any info on the C versus the N engine??

Jim

The C (chrome) and N (nickel) refer to the material used to harden and smooth the liner it has nothing to do with the piston itself.
