Default Observations of a pylon judge

This past weekend I couldn't make it on time to our usual quickie race, so I ended up being a pylon judge on one. By watching all my peers run the course I learned a thing or two.

A poorly trimed plane really bleeds its speed going around 1.

Alot of 3rd and 4th place models are really lean by the 7th lap.

The first time around 1 makes or breaks you.

Daven likes to fly high around 1 to avoid the crowd.

Were going into our last weekend of normal racing, the weekend after were going to have a champ race with the the top 8 duking it out for all the marbles. Wish everyone in back of me good luck !

Too many midairs around #1 the past couple of years, gotta avoid the traffic.

Plus I like to dive back to #2 and pass you on the inside before three

See ya in the finals, you make the top 8?

i might make it, it might rain monkeys too...

I 'll need some big help from fate, which has not been kind to me this year. I 'm hoping for a nice windy day to level the playing field. Maybe a little mist and fog too. Just gotta lay it on the line. Going to practice alittle tonite, nice south wind should keep the noobs away.

I haven't tried the new radio yet with the quickies

You may catch a break.

Doesn't look like A.J. is going to be there, should move you up.

I just saw the standings at www.ncplracing.com

Doesn't look like your going to make it Jess, unless Al, Dick, and Zuidema decide to sleep in.

I will say this, if my primary gets taken out in the first race, I'm in trouble. I don't have a competitive backup for this class.

My money is on Bednark, Zuidema, Stenie, or Schwartz.

Myself, Chuck, and Randy will cutout before letting the other get by

If everyone, including Splatt, over sleeps or crashes in the first heat and I have a perfect score I might make 8th..... However Splatt, I'm only 22 points behind...

For some reason I'm pretty sure you're safe from me in whatever position you're in.
