Default The Big Race!

Its that time of year.

I look forward to the big Minnesota get together this weekend.

Great Racing, Great Competitors, Great Steaks and Corn after the race, and maybe a Rock or Two out of the Keg Cooler.

The Sweeper will be ready

Jesse,

Were considering different course configurations, and think we may be able to just squeeze the course in if we rope off the entrance by the barn and pit in the South corner by the Tree line. This all depends on a wind from the South corner which we should have.

Midairs will be ugly with that corn...

Jerry and I got the well/sprinklers going on Monday, and have been dousing the field with water. Hopefully it won't be too dry..

I'm always willing to bet on myself, the trick is finding a partner.

Straight up, $20, Seeker against R2D2.

Now that Iam almost through with cardiac rehab, and I keep taking the Viagra, the pylon racing groupies will show up. It has nothing to do with the keg of Rock, its the winners like you and me

Why bill ? did you bet on a Viper to win?

A Viper took gold, a Predator took 2nd, a R200 took 3rd(Me).

Very windy day, flying the course and not each other proved to be the key today. All the big dogs were cutting each other out. Looked fun, but zeros for your effort proved to be the demise for a lot of folks.

Near record humidty, like 85-86 degree dew points were a real kicker. Had 24 flyers and good time by all

Tough day with the wind, I did score a 3-0 heat record against Randy and his partner, and finished 4th ahead of both of them.

Always a good time. Good race Jesse, did you get the trophy unstuck from your hand?

Good job on your 3rd place finish Jesse, I know that will look good on your trophy wall... letting it go out of your hands onto the wall is the hard part

Randy, its ok to send cash

The worst part about the whole deal, was I had the race almost in the bag untill I had to fly another Seeker. The pressure of flying such a fast plane must have caused me to cut out
