Where to get BOLTS?
Hi All,
I'm having a hell of a time tracking down flat-head, Phillips, aluminum machine screws like we use for wing bolts. I need 1/4 X 20 and 10 X 24 in at least 1.5" length and preferably 2" in length. I've tried Micro Fasteners, Pacific Fasteners, Fastener Express, and Aluminum Fastener Supply. They all have flat-head, slotted but not Phillips.
Any ideas where I can find what I need?
Thanks,

How many do you need John??
Not sure where I got them, but I think I have about 10-20 of 2" 1/4 20s. I stopped using them because I have gone to all countsink wing bolts.
I'll check tonight, and send you a message.

These guys have everything. But, you usually need to buy fasteners by the box of 100 or so...

Hope this helps.

Where to get BOLTS?
Dave,
I'll take as many of the 1/4 X 20 X 2" bolts that you're willing to part with as long as they're Aluminum, Phillips, Flat-Head screws. Do you have any 10 X 24s?
What do you want for them?
And what do you mean you've gone to countersunk bolts? By my definition, flat-head machine screws ARE countersunk heads.
Just so there's no confusion, look at the attached image. This is what I'm looking for only in aluminum.
Thanks very much!

Where to get BOLTS?
I found something similar at McMaster-Carr. Only its stainless steel. I seriously doubt that you will ever find what you are looking for in aluminum.
Part Number 91802A550, $11.74 for box of 50 pcs.

The thing is, I know they exist because I have some now. I just need more of them. I believe I got these as set from Henry(?) Bartel more than six years ago. I was hoping to buy in quantity this time around.

Hi There,
I know you are looking for aluminum, but we have been using these for years and I have probably sold no less the 20,000 to modelers. Go to WWW.LCSPERFORMANCE.COM and see what you think . They are real strong and 10 for $1
