NCPL Q500 race on Saturday 5/22
North Central Pylon League Q-500 race this Saturday.
Legal Q500 airframes, OS .46 AX / FX motors (other sport motors allowed if approved by CD)
Must be signed up prior to 9:30 am at the Grassfield RC club in Brooklyn Park, MN
Looking forward to finally getting to race this year, watch out RE.

quick question for you .46 guys - will the AX muffler fit the FX case? I picked up a nice clean used engine a while back, and I think it's an FX, but the muffler looks like the more square AX type.
Just wondering if I have one that someone swapped a muffler on. We don't race .46's here, so it's not a question of whether or not it's "legal" for races, just a curiosity.

good luck to all of you - so far both of our 424 races in the area have been rained out this year, one in Kansas City (27 entries!) and one at Hillsdale lake (~17 entries, down because of conflicts with graduations). Next one is June 5th in Wichita, we hope that one doesn't get rained out!

As far as I know the mufflers are interchangeable.. I've seen guys running the FX muffler on the AX because it's a little lighter..

OK OK here I am, You will see the R-200 tails twice during the race, once on take off and than again when you are being lapped.
Are you bringing that engine that sounds like it has a nelson sleeve and piston or a legal one OS 46?
Are you still on Team Dremel?
