RE: APC prop

I think Geoff may be referring to a newer version of the 8.8x9.25, yes?? I heard that Fred may be making a thicker prop in efforts to control the stress he was seeing at the Winterfest. I've never seen them though, certainly haven't run them... so I can't answer your question Geoff.... My guess though, I'd say it probably induces a tad more load, possibly not noticable.

Hi
There is the 8.8 x 9.25 prop with the flat back on the hub, then there is the 8.8 x 9.25 prop with the raised shoulder around the outside of the hub, this prop is I believe a newer version, what I wanted to know is does this newer one have more or less load.

I guess the only way to truly find out is to buy one, run it and compare it with the previous version.

RB,

Yes. Geoff is referring it to the new 8.8x9.25. The new prop have a thicker hub than the older version in an attempt to solve the problem with the new Nelson LS broke one at the hub reasonly.
