RC Power -Duck Antenna
 

Hi Guys,



I would like to get a rubber duck type antenna. I just don't know where to get one. I came across this one from the back of a Mag. According to the enclosed quote - the part about testing for boats and robots and pistol grip contollers got me a little nervous. Has anyone used these or is their a perferred brand used in pylon racing. Getting tired of the whiplash. LOL

Any suggestions would be helpful.

I have been using the Smiley Duckie antenna for a couple of years, on two different transmitters. They work Great!

I used one of the early rubber duckie antenna for years without a problem.

The only issue is you need to be careful when you put the transmitter in the transmitter impound area. I recommend you remove the antenna when not using the transmitter. This prevents one from potentially leaving the transmitter on and the antenna being fully functional and potential shooting down someone.

I have never had range issues.

I'm on year two with one in my 9C. Very happy with it!

I got it for the same reason I think you are thinking about getting one.;)
