Fastest Q500 with TT PRO 40?
 

I intend to fly Q500 again, but I have a Dominator and a Doddger, I would like to get a new plane if there is really a difference, it will be flown with the Thunder Tiger as is the one permitted in my country.

Which are the best airframes? I like composite airframes but there are several out there.

Any suggestions?

In the Thunder Tiger class of racing (424) most of the high wing Q-500 models are competitive. There is very little difference in speed between a Viper or other high wing design. The pilot that consistently flies a smooth tight course usually wins.

For the 428 class there is a noticeable difference between models. The Vortex is the winning model in 428. The Hurrikane and Seeker are also excellent designs. The 428 class allows composite wings in which the advantage is more for consistency. Many people can also build a good wing that works well.
