Default JR receiver binding

Just sold off my Futaba 9 Cap radio and got from a friend a JR 9 channel 2.4 Ghz radio/transmitter and I need some help/link on how to bind JR R921 9 Channel DSM2 2.4GHz Receiver to transmitter. Appreciate help!

Guess you don't want to hear "follow the manual"

Its pretty easy. Put the bind plug in the BATT/BIND port of the 921

Plug a 4 or 5 cell battery into any other port.

Hold the bind button on the back of the radio down and power it up. Wait until the flashing lights go solid on both the main and satelite recievers.

Turn everything off and remove the bind plug.

If its a non-module radio (like the X9303 or a 9503) then you want to make sure that the model you have selected is the one you intend to use because of Model Match each model memory is a unique ID so if you have the wrong model selected the receiver won't link up.

Many thanks for this explanation. I did read the manual but the figure and description doesn't match on the manual.

'Cuda - Shouldn't a person turn the receiver off first, and then the transmitter, to preserve the link up?
