I am painting a 1/4 scale cub. I started with nelson's Lockhaven Yellow. I came up short on paint to finish. Nelson hobbies is no longer open for business. I was thinking of going over it with latex. I did not paint with white prior to putting on the yellow. Yellow doesn't cover the ink marks and things underneath very well. I sprayed some trial pieces with white primer. I have not tried the yellow over it yet. It didn't seem like the primer stuck real well to the nelsons. Maybe it's ok. Any thoughts?
