Default RE: receiver question

I would do an extra long range check just to be sure.

with the engine running. Make sure it is the same conversion as your receiver. Single conversion, dual conversion. A lot of the smaller crystals are single conversion, where most modern standard size receivers are dual conversion.

I didn't fly it. I didn't want to chance anything. Butif the the micro crystal is a dual conversion there should be no issues correct?

Gonna just order the standard size in the mean time.

Thanks guys

Default RE: receiver question

The guy at the LHS made a comment that the receiver itself is designated to either a high or low frequency. I didn't think this was true and thought it was strictly based on the receiver crystal. For example the receiver that came with the plane is channel 15 "low" and my FM trans is 51 "high". I thought the receiver will work on whatever frequency crystal is installed?
