Default Hitec HS645MG ?????

Putting together a Great Planes Super Stearmen and bought Hitec HS645MG servos, I have used Hitec in the past without issue but these Groan all the time like they are under a strain and their not, is this common? I am using a 2000ma 6v 5c battery fully charged.

Thanks for the Help!!

Is your TX too near the RX while you bench test?

Could be, the funny this is the Aileron servos don’t do it. I’ll take it outside and give it a test.

Thanks for the Help!

You might check your endpoint settings.

Mine like to. I think if the linkage puts even the slightest twist on the servo arm it will groan a bit. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I have them in a Rascal 110 and the ones on the ailerons groan, but not the elevator. The ailerons are not in a bind what so ever.

Do they stop if you bump the control surface a bit? If so, it has been my experience that these servos are a bit noisy around center. I'm sure they are fine.
