Making Aircraft graphics
I'm wanting to use my computer to make some graphics for my planes.. Where can you get clear sheets of material with the sticky back on it??. Or maybe some of you have ideas how to do this that I haven't thought about.. Thanks

I have found clear sticky back material at a computer supply store but it needs to be glued on and fuel proofed. I print most on white photo paper though and glue it on. (roundells and such) My planes are all electric so no need to fuel proof them. I hear that fake tatoo kits to print on your printer will put the ink on the sticky side. Then you can seal over them with clear finish.

I use Avery Clear Full Sheet Labels. Avery part #05665. I save the graphic on a CD and take it to the local sign shop and have them print it on their colour laser printer. So far I've used up to 30% nitro with no problems.

Here's a picture of some of the decals I've made.

There are manufacturers and dealers for Water Slide Decals you can put through your inkjet or color laser printer. Here are some links:

http://www.railwayshop.com/model_decals.shtml

http://www.beldecal.com/

http://www.decalpaper.com/

I haven't used any of these products yet, but intend to within the next few weeks or so.

Good Luck
