Default How much does the "turn" of a motor matter?

Where is there a difference in performance in 540 motors? Does 17 turn and 18 turn motors really differ in performance? I'm thinking of getting a 17 turn motor, but if it doesn't really perform any different then a 20 turn or something I might as well not pay the extra money.

Please help.

You can expect about 20/17 times the performance, and 17/20 of the run time. I.e., the change will be about 15%.
