Venus 2 has sudden down elevator occuren
Hello everybody, I have a perplexing problem. I have a Venus 2 plane which has developed a very disturbing tendency. In a 10 minute flight it will have 2-3 one second or so momentary down elevator occurences. I have been trying to isolate and troubleshoot. Here are the facts.
I am using an Airtronics RDS 8000 transmitter/airtronics servos
2 elevator servos in rear of plane connected by a Y connector. This is connected to an 18 inch lead that plugs into the airtronics reciever.
After 50 flights or so, this phenomenon starting happening. I cannot seem to find any common denominator with flight, fast, slow, on takeoff, landing, seems to make no difference.
I put 2 brand new servos in the tail
put innew y connector
put in new servo extension
put in a brand new reciever
used a new transmitter. Old transmitter operates 5 other planes without any issues.
No change.............
Reciever battery is fully charged. TX battery is fully charge
All connections appear tight.
New balanced 17x8 APC prop
No slop in linkages that I can see.
All other channels are unaffected still have full control with ailerons/throttle/rudder
I am afraid to fly it now and it flies wonderfully well. Any ideas??
Thanks in advance.

change the switch.....yep the on off switch.....I know it powers everything else.....but I've often said that if you change or eliminate everything ...then it's the switch...I mean what do ya have to loose?

Can you set up your elevators on seperate channels and get rid of the Y? If you have an open channel I would give it go. I know you said you changed it once but I have seen other people change them and still have issues. They got rid of the Y and the issue went away.
