storing a large plane
I am completing a large biplane that will require approx 8 X8 foot area. I am looking for any sugestions on how I can keep the plane in one pice and store it against the garage cealing. Perhaps a pully system?
Any ideas?

njrcflyer, I keep my Texan in one piece tied to the ceiling to prevent hangar rash. This may take more words than necessary but I'm sure if you've built a biplane, you'll figure this out too.
There's 2 loops of cording. One for the front and one for the rear.
There's 2 large eye bolts screwed into the ceiling.
Each loop has a cord attached that goes through it's eyebolt and when they're both pulled... up she goes. I just tie each cord off to the other eye bolt.
Maybe this'll give you an idea at least. Here's the best pix I have of the hoist. Good luck.

all my planes "hang" in my room. for a bipe, it will be easiest to put an eyehook in the ceiling above where you want the back of the cowl to be, and hang a rope that goes around the back of the cowl. do the same for the tail. you don't ned it to detatch, just slip the one in the tail in, push it back, and slip the other one on. (it will be kinda difficult if you have a 3 bladed prop)
