futaba 617 antenna placement
Just switched to 2.4 . How do i place the antennas on the 617 rx? The instruction suggest at 45 degrees or 90 but this does not work in the fus. Could I place the rx at 90 degrees in fus and then run one antenna towards the front of the fus and one towards the back?

RE: futaba 617 antenna placement
The antennas need to be placed at 90 degrees to each other. I normally put one antenna vertically and the other horizontally in the fuselage. Note that only the short bare wire at the end is the antenna, the rest is co-axial cable and enables you to place the antenna where needed.

RE: futaba 617 antenna placement
Thanks, Landeck. I see, so it doesn't matter what I do with the coax as long as the short wires at the end are 90 degrees? Will give that a go.
