Anyone know anything about this model??
Hello!
I just received a vintage Sig R-C Sport model kit for the holidays, but can't seem to find any info on it anywhere - even Google is turning up zilch.
It appears to be from the mid to late 1960's, and has a similar layout to the later Sig Super Sport. Construction is sheet fuselage sides and eppenage, a half A to .15 sized engine and a basic foam wing. The wing itself seems to be of a simpler moulding than the later Colt, Klipper and Super Sport. It has no aileron cutouts or forward fairing. Aluminium LG and Sullivan wheels are in the box, but that's it for hardware. Radio calls for single to 3 channel propo or galloping ghost...
Naturally, I think the GG setup may be out of the question.
I would like to know more about this kit - has anyone built one? Production dates? Is this a particularily rare model kit?
I'll post pictures shortly!
Thank you,
Graeme
