Default Optical ignition cutoff setup

I'm putting a DLE 20 in my Hangar 9 Pulse 125 XT. I configured my optical ignition kill setup tonight and want to make sure I did it right. The cutoff transmitter was pretty straightforward - I puzzled a lot over the receiver end, though. Here's the component:

Here's how I wired it (click the image to see the full-sized view):

The instructions state that you can connect the switch/charge lead on the ignition cutoff receiver to a battery or a mechanical switch - I'm doing the latter. The instructions don't mention the ignition cutoff receiver's charge lead at all.

My setup makes sense to me - but then, I've never done this before.

Sorry, I thought it was implicit. Plainly stated, my question is, "For those of you with experience in configuring ignition cutoffs, does this setup look correct?"

I think that looks like the way I set mine up... haven't used it yet though since it's winter

Looks good. You always should have a switch between a battery and anything electronic like optical kills and that.

Vo,

Don't know if you had the chance to check out an alternative in optical kills, Check the TBM Wike Rc IBEF opto kill/regulator. I have one on my 540 50cc, powering the DLE 55 ignition. Simple and effective... saves the weight of ignition battery+opto kill.

Have mine plugged into my Rx which is powered by 2 x 2200 7.4 V 35-70C lipos in parallel (4400 amp total Mah and redundant based on parallel connection) and running through a dual sky-fail safe regulator giving out 8 AmP constant. Im sure you can substitute the lipo's with li-ion or liFe.
