Gas/Nitro plane calculator?
There's a lot of wonderful electric airplane calulators out there (like MotoCalc whichI use a lot)....
Does anyone know of a similar program for gas/nitro airplanes? Just like MotoCalc, I want to input various values to determine the effect of prop selection, maxflight time, max speed, etc.... but for combustion engines.
Anything like that out there?

RE: Gas/Nitro plane calculator?
There are really too many variables in IC engines for such a calculator to be useful. For example, different .60's will make different horsepower at different RPM's, and use fuel at different rates. Even with comparing the same engines, tuning has a big effect on both power and fuel consumption. Props don't affect IC engines the same way they do electric either. If you overload an IC engine, it will just spin fewer RPM and probably use a little less fuel while electric will draw more amps to turn the bigger prop at the same RPM if it can.
