How to adjust high and low speed needle valve on Evolution .46?
I need a step-by step instructions on how to set the low speed and high speed valves on my evolution power trainer .46 motor. its the one that hanger 9 puts on its p51d mustang PTS. i crashed it into my house and finally got it running again. just wayyyy to rich. and when i adjust the high speed it still needs tweaking on the low end. i lost the manual when it got sucked up by the plane LOL.
Thanks! SHP

Assuming no crash damage, and the engine/tank position is correct.
Screw the idle control all the way in. Now you know it is in the wrong position. There is only one way to turn it to correct it. Start the engine and set it at just below max rpm. Adjust the idle screw a turn at a time to set the idle speed. When it looks as if it is getting close adjust with lesser amounts.

The Evo 46 has a blue collar on the Low-End needle that prevents it from moving too much.
Remove the collar, open the carb 1 millimeter and close the Low-End needle. Now, re-open it 1 1/5 (one and one fifth) turns. Replace the blue colar so it is centered between the stops.
This is where it is supposed to be set at the factory.
