Default need help! os 1.20 surpass

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can tell me if this is indeed the idle mixture screw circled in photo below?
The manual does not make reference to any low speed needle or idle mixture control. Any imput would
be greatly appreciated.

It appears to be (don't quote me), its in the same spot that my idle mixture screw is on my OS 110 4 stroke.

I have an OS 1.20SE (unpumped) which I purchased about two years ago and beleve it is a later series engine. On mine the carburator is a different type and the midrange needle is located in the conventional position inside the throttle barrel.

On your series carburator I beleve you have correctly idendified the mid range adjustment. With this type of carb the midrange is not an actual needle as the more conventional but actually just rotates the jets direction within the venturi.

That little black screw at the top is just a simple cam within those forks that rotate the round object below, and that rotates the direction of the jet.

The old OS 7D carbs had a similar setup. Adjustments are VERY minute. A little bit goes a long way.

There is a factory support for most engines in the glow engine forum. If you have problems with any of the OS engines you can go there and ask Bill Baxter

i'm looking at the manual for mine and it shows that as the idle mixture control screw. mine is a pumped version. not sure if on the later versions they changed what that screw is used for.

Three photos.
Three photos that didn't load up?? I'm on new puter and just loaded in my photo file. For some reason it wouldn't down load to RCU??
Anyway, I have two older OS 1.20s, bothe pumpers. The newer of the two is the Surpass#3, I tried to show the low end idle screw. It has a 70N carb. The other is now a parts engine, it's one of the original 1.20 Surpass pumpers with the C12 carb. The low end on the old C12 carb is what the OP is showing. It gets opened a little then the engine is fired up, then high end is set first then the low end as normal. It's a mite touchy, acts as anair bleed but it worked. Now, to try to figure out the photo down load problem??? Same cameera, same program, just a different puter!!!
Got them!! One on the left is the old C12 carb and how the low end was adjusted. The one on the right is a newer modelpumper and the 70N carb adjusts with a screw, not a plate.
