Default prop shaft thread

does anyone know the thread size on a OS LA 65.

I picked up a aluminum spinner for that engine and need to make an adapter to mount it, but need the thread size to make it.

Got it at the weak signal show yesterday, nice show.

5/16-24 is what it says here. For a cross check, you can take it to the local hardware store and try a 5/16-24 nut on it.

Stick,

My OS 61 FX is 5/16 x 24.
I'm willing to bet a maple bar they are the same.

Good Luck,

Stick - OS publishes that kind of information on their "engines dimensions" page. Problem is that their engine web pages are really inconsistent. If you look at the OS 65 AX it has the link on the bottom of the page. If you look at your OS 65 LA, guess what? The link is NOT on that page. Guess QA doesn't include their website. Guess they don't care about "quality data", just quality products.
