GIANT SHARK IN UK -POOR SERVICE
As many people in UK (and also those outside UK) will know, the good and very inexpensive modelling website "GIANT COD", recently changed its name to "GIANT SHARK" -and at the same time, the prices took a large jump upwards ...
www.giantcod.co.uk/ -has become: http://www.giantshark.co.uk/
GIANT COD/SHARK is no longer owned by Rob Carpenter (i.e the "Carp" or "Cod" ) and is now owned by MyHobbyStore Ltd; see: http://www.giantshark.co.uk/about.php. -MyHobbyStore Ltd are the people who publish the magazine RCM&E, and other modelling magazines ...

I have noticed that the mods on modelflying.co.uk seem to close down ANY thread critical of Giant Shark/Cod -not surprising since MyHobbyStore Ltd own the modelflying.co.uk website, and also now own the Giant Shark company ... (an interesting "conflict of interest" problem for staff of RCM&E ...)
Also, RCGroups seems to close down any thread critical of Giant Shark/Cod -this seems a little strange ...
-Anyway, for the record: Here is the experience of one person with the new Giant Shark company:

The parcel from Giant Shark / Cod eventually arrived, on 19 May, with a tracking number ...
It took 9 days to arrive ... -And one of the items was wrong ...
-No idea why Giant Shark / Cod could not give me any idea of the tracking number ...
