thinder tiger .61 leaking fuel
Hello everyone. I'm having an issue with my engine. I was having trouble with rpms at full throttle, and at idle. At w.o.t., I couldn't get the rpms I needed, then I would take it down to idle, it would run right, then stall. So, I'm trying to tune it, and I notice fuel comming off the carb. At w.o.t. couldn't notice any at idle. Has anyone else come across this? Is it a common pro.? Oh, and I replaced the carb o-ring. And made sure all fittings were tightened down. Checked where the needle valve goes in. There is a decent amount of fuel comming out, so I can't tell exactly where its coming out. Thanks for any help I can get. Todd

Sounds like you need to replace the o-ring on the needle valve or you can take a small piece of fuel tubing and "sleeve" the needle valve housing and the needle valve. This will prevent the leak and sucking air through the needle valve.

I tried to find a new oring kit for this. Come to find out the carb is the old design. They've repositioned the needle valve. And I think it has a different oring now.
