Mine keep changing cuz i keep making them bigger and taller. I also have a smaller one with 1/2 pvc just like the one in the pic. I have finally glued just one of my racks after finalising the dimensions for my planes.

I use both smimming pool noodles and foam pipe insulation around the pvc to protect the planes from the hard pvc pipe and to spread the load a bit more softly.

Guver, could you please provide the pipe size and connector size you are using?

Also, do you have to glue the pieces together?

I use 3/4 inch pipe for all of my racks. You should secure them somehow, either by gluing or by drilling a hole and putting a screw in so it's removable. I built a similar wing rack except it's done with Tee's instead of crosses and I put a string at the top on both ends so it will hang on the wall and lay flat. The fuselages hang by their tails wherever I can find a spot.

It's cool and so easy. You don't show pictures of the bottom. Do you just have 4 pipes on the floor to keep it from falling?

The stands in the pic are 3/4 PVC , but that stand is now glued and much taller now. I also have a 1/2 PVC one same style for planes under 3'. For the bottoms I just have a pair of tees and 4 pipes for support. The are very top heavy and once you get them the way you like I would recommend glueing them.

Cool, this is amazing and effective rack, I will try to use bamboo tube as the material
