Default mixture valve on os 61

where is the idle mix. valve on this engine? Is it in the centerof the throttle lever? The manual doesnt tell you where it is,,,only how to adjust it. What tool do I need for making the adj.

Which OS .61?

Makes a really big differance For example an SF or FX has it in the location you mentioned and it is in the throttle barrel as noted.

In the types with bleeder carbs such as the FP or perhaps the LA 65 it is a horizontal screw projecting from the right side of the carb with a spring around it. This screw extends into the tiny bleeder hole directly in front of the venturi and it can be seen in the bleeder hole.

The tool required in either case is a small flat tipped screw driver.
