Default new struts on my P-51

Looking to replace the struts on my H9 Miss America P-51. The electrics work great... but the struts suck. Even thro there the newer type (3/16 wire) they still bend. Keep having to remove them and bending back stright. I know the more I strighten them the weaker they get. I'm looking for a heavy duty strut that can fit in the retracts I have in the plane. Having read all the responces that have been sent in, I know this has been a big problem with these struts. Any suggestions as to where I can get replacements. Thanking all for any help
