Try some of those foam ear plugs from one of the "home" stores. Scrunch (roll) them up, insert into venturi or muffler outlet, and they expand to seal the opening. Works great, one size fits all, and cheap!

Vacumn caps from the local Napa or any auto store. There usually is a wide selection and you can get what sizes work without all the others in the selction packs.

I don,t normally use them on carbs but I do on occassion pickup nice thick rubber ones for the glow ignitor. I'am always loosing those

Pretty much all of the above. I have bought the assorted sizes of the auto vacuum nipples and used them. I get the ear plugs free at wood stores and used those. The wadded up piece of paper towel is great, one size fits all and if you forget to remove it from the muffler it just gets spit out when starting. Never have used the Exacto blade cover.
