HOW TO JOIN A CLUB????
I want to learn to fly and own a plane of my own so I need a instrucktor to teach me. Do clubs provide this? And how do I join?[sm=confused.gif] I have been told that Most instruktors want you to buy a certent air plane to train with that they are fimiler with.
But I want to join a club so I can find out what plane to get.

RE: HOW TO JOIN A CLUB????
The best thing to do would go to your local (or closest) RC field to you and ask around. don't be shy, everyone will be glad to show you around and tell you about how to get started and whos a good instructor. and the best part is that there free! Now some clubs have trainers you can fly or you can buy your own like a Hanger 9 Alpha. But you should go down to the field and start chattingit up! Enjoy the hobby!

RE: HOW TO JOIN A CLUB????
Righty has good advice. Local hobby stores know where all the clubs and fields are Also, if you think you'll be trying the hobby soon, join the AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics). Without their membership card you'll have a difficult time finding a field to fly...unless its a farmer's field. The AMA website also has a directory of all affilliated clubs list by state.
