Sport T-34
Hi Guys I'm looking for some information. Back in 2002 I bought a airplane kit , from a hobby shop in Bath PA. I still have the complete kit. To make a long story short, what I would like to have or buy is a magazine / magazine's that featured an article on this plane. I know their must be someone out there that has the right Magazine. I am enclosing all the info on the plane and a picture ( if I can figure out how to do that ) Thank you.______________________________________________ __________________________________________________ ________________ Sport T-34 kit, kit number 50K222, W/S 56", Wing area 532 sq.in., Weight 5 1/2 lbs. all up, Engine 35-45, Functions 4 channels, Designed by Bud Atkinson. On the plans it says Copyright 1984 by Ace R/C Inc. Key words Sport T-34, Wingspan 56"

Hi Walter What I am looking for is any RC Magazine that featured an article on this plane , I also have the complete kit and I would like to build this kit just like it is pictured on the box. I think it is a beautiful Airplane !. I'm glad to hear that you have one also, for awhile there I thought I had the only one. So if I can find the right Magazine it will complete the set, and I can pass it on to my Son. Hank

RE: Sport T-34
I have a lot of old magazines and I do not ever recall seeing a article on this plane. They are a great flying airplane. I was going to install retracts in mine.
There were also two variants to the kit the early one used balsa covered wings the later one used obechi veneer.

Thanks for the info Walter. Where there is a will there is a way and I am going to keep on trying , their is always a paper trail. I have a friend that works for Fly RC magazine I think I am going to give him a call, if anyone knows he surely will. When I find the Magazine if you want I will let you know and if it's ok can I email you, I see you are on line. Hank

I think that you will find what you are looking for in Model Airplane News March 1985. They did a Field and Bench review in that issue of the Ace R/C T-34 Mentor.
