Default Wing bag material?

My wife says she is pretty good with a sewing machine, so trying to find some material for her to work with to make me a few wing bags. I have wing bags that came with my Extra 330, and they are a silver material that I have no idea what it is, but can use them as a basis for my other wings.

Movers blankets from Harbor Freight, good stuff. I have also used the sun screens for vans. I buy them on sale at the end of summer.

I buy cheap sleeping bags , from Wall Mart or some place like that . You can get different sizes and colours and they are quite cheap . Good enough for me .

About 10 years ago my wife made eight assorted size wing bags for me out of old sleeping bags (our camping days were over) and old quilts. They have worked well and are still in service today. Some are sewn on three sides and the wing slides in like a small sleeping bag, some open flat and are held closed by velcro, and some are two separate bags that slide on to each wing half allowing a fixed landing gear to hang out near the center. Different sizes and styles make them useful on many different planes. Total cost to build.....ZERO!
