Parkzone F-27q Stryker Upgrades?
Hey guys,
So I've had my F-27q Stryker for about half a year now, and me being a speed demon obviously means I need more speed out of it!! I have everything on it stock right now, and I'm clueless to how to get this thing going 100+ mph. I've heard about putting a 7X6 prop on it instead of the stock 6X6, but I don't know how much of a change that would actually make. So I'm open for any ideas and suggestions on how to make this thing soar! Thanks!

To get that kind of speed requires way more than a prop change. There are several hundred page + threads on Stryker mods. There are guys who have gone past 100 mph, guys who have built twins that can spin and hammer like nobody's business, changes to the tail setup to reduce drag, tips for reinforcing the foam airframe to take the stress of fast flight better, and more. To get the speed you are talking about will require changing out the whole power system and batteries and installing CF rods and possibly some glass work to make the fuselage strong enough to take the stress.
