RCU does care but the issues are complex and are not going to be fixed overnight.

JWN is the marketplace mod .

We don't expect it to be fixed OVERNIGHT. What we do expect that it is fixed in a week? Year? who knows? When is it going to be fixed?

Yeap,,, Just a sense that it's being worked on at all would be nice.

Read the problems section I linked,, the "email problem" will not be fixed ever. The powers the be have decided the AOL and Yahoo (gmail intermittently too) compatibility issues aren't worth making the changes to the way the system forwards emails. Even though probably half of the members use these web mail services now a days.

It is what it is,, and it's dying before our eyes. If you haven't noticed the slow down in traffic, build threads, etc. what can I say.

Yes, it is dying a slow, painful death right in front of our eyes. In the half dozen sub-forums that I frequent the most, new threads stay on the first page for days or weeks at a time where in the past, there would be enough traffic that a new post would be moved to subsequent pages in just a day or so. Some of the threads on this very sub-forum have been on page one for weeks now. And I truly believe that the primary reason is that IB just doesn't give a damn. There seems to be absolutely no rush to fix issues such as mentioned above and not even any excuses from IB for that lack of maintenance.

GMAIL is more likely to work than some other email accounts.

It is free.

Yes it is a PITA to have to set up yet another system but that is the best I can do.
