Default Gas engines

Got a Evolution .15cc gas pumped engine. The muffler has a fitting for tank pressurization. Is this needed to the tank? Thought pumped , it was not necessary. New to the gas environment so some questions have surfaced. Not doing any fancy flying so what prop is recommended for cruising with a gas eng. ? One more , what type of vent system is good. Ok thanks again and will be watching. . . gphil

I don't have one. I believe when it was first introduced they used muffler pressure like a glow engine. The new pumped carb wouldn't need it and there is no mention in the manual of using muffler pressure.

You don't use muffler pressure on a gasser with a pulse pump carb. Block it off, a piece of fuel line with a screw in it is the easiest way

The early evolution small gassers did not have pump carbs and required the muffler pressure. Check to see if you have an early version, which I suspect, because of the muffler tap.
