Default MVVS 26 front bearing

In the process of prepping an auction bought CMP Katana Super Power ARF for airworthiness, after pulling the pick-up hub I'm looking at the ball separators in the front bearing. Is it possible that this bearing is or was installed backwards? Most nose bearings are sealed one side - with the open side facing the crank for lubrication. This motor is unused - not run. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Nope it's fine the way it is. Quite normal for a bearing to be unsealed.

Hi!
Many engines use no rubber, metal or plast shield on the front bearing.
