Default Tower Hobbies 61 carburetor

Guys, an engine question please: I'm cleaning up a used Tower 61 glow engine and while disassembling the carb I noticed a little paper filter (I think it's a fliter) under the domed nut on the side where the fuel nipple is. I blew in the nipple to see if it was free and the little white thing flew out. I couldn't find it for awhile, in the interim I took it outside and started it up (mounted in my Giant J-3) After some adjustments it ran pretty well. I suspect it was idle for quite some time. It has the remote needle assembly. What is the purpose of the little round white thing? Thanks for any tips and suggestions! BTW does anyone have a stock cannister muffler for this engine? I'll buy it.

If it's running and transitions to full power ok I'd say it was a ghost finger.

Ummmmm, what? My question was what is the little white thing under the domed nut on the carburetor? BTW I bought a muffler at a local swap meet.
Thank you.

Go into the glow engine forum and OS support and ask Bax.
