Can't find landing gear/Waterproofing retracts
I have a set of Turnigy servoless retracts... but no landing gear to go with them. I know such gear exists, because it's normally sold with the retracts at exorbitant prices, but I can't find it anywhere without the retracts.
Bear in mind there are no model shops where I live, so I'm restricted to what I can get off the Internet - where could I buy some?
Also, I'm trying to fit retracts to a seaplane. I know it can be done because there are PBY models that can fly off water with retracting nose gear. How do I ensure no water gets in? I saw someone on YouTube use rubber bands to hold gear doors open - could I hold them closed the same way?
