Those things are downright handy!

I have one I found by accident when drooling over some new Sea Doo's at the local water sport dealer but I didn't know Horizon had them.

I've been using Amsoil 100-1 at 90-1- 1.5 ozs to the gal. since 1985, never had a problem, but any oil you use just stick to the Mfg recommendations

Thanks very much! A member of our club runs a small engine repair shop and he swears by the ethanol- free gasoline he sells to landscapers- but it's not cheap. I'm looking at the new OS GGT 10CC gas engine with glow plug ignition, and expect to run it at 50:1 with Echo oil.

So does any small engine shop or lawn mower repair service. Great thing to have no mater where you buy it. When I was working at a small engine service shop we were even selling alcohol testing kits. I still have one on hand.
When gas engines really started taking off here our local small engine repair shop couldn't keep the alcohol resistant carb kits in stock for the Walbro carbs. Only cost a couple bucks and takes a few minutes to install. I have been told but don't quote me on this but told DLE now comes with the alcohol resistant kits/diaphragms installed?? For the price I would just get the kit and do it myself to be sure.
http://pure-gas.org/ is a web site that is helpful in locating alcohol free gas. I have a Rebel station down the road that was supposed to be alcohol free but when I mixed some I tested and it was 5%. They also sell what they call racing fuel that is good old high test and alcohol free but really high priced.
Sence I started installing the kits I haven't had any alcohol related problems though. Alcohol only affected the rubber diaphragm in any of my carbs and it wasn't a real problem.

As a former Stihl service tech I've found the Stihl HP Ultra to be the one of cleanest burning oils on the market. All Stihl products are 50:1 mix ratio and in the case of a chainsaw they get run balls to the walls from the get go. The fuel mixtures are also quite lean to satisfy the EPA for emissions. I never had a repair from a customer that was oil related using the Ultra.

A test Stihl did on competitors oil. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...03073922,d.dmo I think "A" was Amsoil and "B" was Echo oil.

Add me to the list of those using Ultra. Bought my DLE 20 from Valley View and their tech at the time highly recommended the Ultra.
