I got these 2 engines in a trade and I'm trying to get some info on them. One might be a E.D. 2.46cc Racer, but the info here http://www.modelenginenews.org/cardf..._story.html#t8 is confusing. The other one as the trader remembers might be a ED OS Bee. http://modelenginenews.org/cardfile/edb.html Not sure on this one either and what's up with that tube coming out the back? Any info you can give me and if they have any decent value so I can offer the them to someone who can use them.
Thank you Joe

The big one is an ED Racer 2.46 cc [could be a repro.]
Not sure about the small one it looks like an ED Bee but I can not remember ever seeing a genuine ED with an anodized head and the head shape is not right.

The smaller engine is incomplete. You are missing either the carburetor/venturi or at least the needle valve assembly. That tube sticking out the back is the main induction tube for the engine and either it serves as a venturi with a cross drilled needle valve or there is a missing assembly with the needle valve.
Although a few of us dabble with diesels the market is quite small and as far a this being a "decent value" that is quite subjective and debatable.
