AS THE TITEL SAYS......WHATS A GOOD SET UP WITH OUT SELLING THE FARM......I UNDERSTAND THERE ARE START UP COMBOS AND ARE THEY ANY GOOD.......ANY HELP WOULF BE GREAT.....THANKS

There are lots of variables in this equation. Answer some questions first and we can probably help you.
1. What's your RC experience? Do you have decent flying skills already? What RC gear do you already have?
2. What's your actual budget? What's affordable to one is prohibitively expensive to another.
3. Do you want to fly FPV multirotors or airplanes?
4 Where is your flying space?

40 yrs of rc flying.....nitro, gas, elect..no heli.....DX6i, DX8,DX10.....would like to stay around 400.00 to start.........would install on elect aircraft.........NJ..apx 40 miles from any airport........

If you're talking about $400 to add FPV to a plane you already own, that's very doable. the Fatshark goggles are pretty much standard, so the goggle/transmitter combo with the good clover leaf antennas will serve you well. For an airplane, the quality of your camera matters more than for a multirotor, so pick something that's 700 TV lines or HD quality.
