Default Mixing 20% oil FAI fuel

Ok, guys, this is one of those things that I can't get my mind around. I want FAI fuel, 20 % oil. Just confirm or correct. For 1 Gallon or 128 oz. I use 25.6 oz oil and fill the remainder 128 oz with methanol. That would be 25.6/128 = 20%. I'm having a mental block here for some reason.. thanks..

Yup that works.

Or get a slightly larger container and add 1 qt of oil followed by 4 qts methanol.

Here's another simple method. Get a 1/5 whisky bottle. Place a mark on the neck close to the full level. (I use masking tape.) Fill the bottle up to the line with oil once, and pore it into your gallon container. Then fill it four times with alcohol. This will give you a 4 to 1 mix, or 80% 20%. No measuring required!

Hi!
???? Aren't you having methanol and castor oil in separate containers...that you mix in a 1 liter jar??

Fill the jar with 2 deciliter (20%) castor oil and 8 deciliter (80%) methanol...that's 1 liter FAI fuel.

Cool power oil is pretty awesome and what we use in our YS engines when mixing our own fuel. We have ran up to 75% nitro with this oil and no issues.

I use synthetic oil from S&W fuels. $35 per gallon. Works fine for me.
