Hello, i am going to teach a friend how to fly. He has a futaba skysport t4ybf. I have a futaba fpt6nfk 6 channel that i will use as the master radio. My radio has a six pin plug round and his radio has the six pin square plug. I have a buddy cord that goes from square to square. What i want to do is cut one end off that coard an instal a six pin plug like i have on my six channel radio. So i end u p with a six pin round plug to a six pin square plug buddy coard. The numbers on my six pin plug i want to install faceing the solder end with the little groove up left to right are five , top left corner. , four , three , two and one in the top right corner with six in the center.... i cut one end off the buddy cord and checked the wires color to the pins connections with an ohm meter. Here are those connections. This will be faceing the mating side left to right. Top left, nc, white, yellow , nc in bottom row left side, black and red. If any knows the what color on the square plug goes to what number on the round plug i sure could use that info. The square to square buddy cord i want to use has four wires in it. ..........tks......Dave

You can still buy the buddy cord with a round on one end and square plug on the other. Looks like it is out of stock at Tower right now but should be back in early September. Might find it at other retailers.
