Default Gyro Mounting

I have a Hitecj 3xA gyro to try. Putting in a bi plane. If I flip plane upside down and remove bottom wing and mount in fuselage, gryo will be upside down when plane is in normal flight.
Will it work that way. any help will be appreciated
Thanks

Turn it over. In other words mount it upside down so when you put the wing on it's right side up.

It will work fine. Just reverse the output so the correction goes the right way.

Since this is my first gyro, how do you reverse the output.

Refer to page 6 of the manual that came with the Gyro, it will tell you how to reverse the output or direction and how to test the aircraft when the gyro is on to ensure that the control surfaces are responding correctly
