Rust oleum paint?

Default Rust oleum paint?

Can rustoleum paint be used as a fuel proof covering. I have a lot of hanging around,,hate to buy more paint if I don't need to. TAZZZZ

Rustoleum is at least fuel resistant. I wouldn't use it for fuel proofing engine bays and fuel tank areas, though.

Thanks for the comeback Tom,, that's what I figure,,I'm going to use the LustreCote for all the oily areas. So,, I see your a fellow sixty-niner, is your memory as short as mine,,,,,my memory goes way back to yesterday,,,sheesh! Thanks again. TAZZZZ

Yup. I hit 69 last month. I, too, suffer from CRS. LOL

For engine compartments, I fuel proof them with epoxy. The epoxy is sanded lightly. I then spray on some Rustoleum. After that, I apply another coat of epoxy to fuel proof the area.

Sounds good,,I'm gonna get to it then... I turned last Aug.,,,,that must mean 70 is coming up. Been there ,done that,,can't remember. Damn! TAZZZZ
