Have a look at the beginner's forum. Lots of great info there and plenty of knowledgeable people who will take the time to explain things to new pilots.

I have to agree with the recommendations above. There is a lot of good info in the beginner forum, just don't let it overwhelm you. If you see something and don't understand it or need a clarification, don't be afraid to ask questions
