I was the 2nd owner of a 1/4 scale Sig Cub with a OS 1.20 Gemini. It was a full wing. I think it was 105". It had plenty of power. Not saying it would hover it. But I never flew it wide open. The 1.20 didn't have a pressurized fuel system so hovering was out of the question any way. The extra weight of the 1.60 would have helped getting the CG.

yes the FT160 will fly the 1/4 scale cub if your weight is around 16 lbs. the FT120 that i have in a 96" aeronca c-3 will not have enough power especially at my altitude.
I have a friend with a 160 in a Sig cub and it does great

Yes, plenty of power, a very popular combination for good reason.
I have one on a Sig Clipped Wing on floats. Perfect match.
