Angry Easy

I I set throttle cut on DX8 to Mix sw. Mix 0 no throttle, Mix 1 full range of throttle, I return sw to Pos. 0 throttle will turn off. But when I turn off my xmtr. the throttle is back to full range or HOT.
I have repeated the programming process but same results each time. ? ? ?

Turn off your receiver before you turn off your transmitter.

A good habit to get into, and something to ALWAYS do. Primarily for safety, and the reason for turning off the RX first is apparent if one has much common sense. Plus, not doing it can cause problems like this.

I agree this is an important habit to get into.

But I feel just as important is to set, and test, the failsafe mode just in case the transmitter fails.

This is a GREAT question that was asked.
