Hi. I've finally got to 10 posts so here are the photos I've taken of what I think is a 1/4 scale Fly Baby. Alas, it came without wings.
Can anyone confirm please, and ideally identify the kit or plans from which it has been built. I can take more photos if this would help. Cheers, David

You made the post count!
I am not 100% certain, but it definitely looks like a Fly Baby to me. Now, maybe someone can help figure out who made the plans or kit, then you can go about hopefully finding some plans for the wing. Sorry, but I don't have any idea where yours is from.

Hi again Outrider6
Many thanks for your thoughts. I'm pretty convinced that it is a Fly Baby as well. But I've not found a large scale one with fully sheeted fuselage sides as yet. But in any case, I would think that some scratch-built wings would not be too difficult, given the plentiful supply of plans for this model (including the full size) on the internet.
It seems to be fairly well built, and a shame that it has never flown. There is a bit of damage here and there, but nothing too serious.
Cheers
David

I have now positively identified the Fly Baby fuselage; it has been built from plans designed by Eraldo Pomare, but slightly modified here and there. There was an article on this Fly Baby in the June 1983 issue of Radio Control Models & Electronics (RCM&E), along with a 1/7 scale reproduction of the plans. The plans are still available from a third-party source.
